kara walling. drum circle

Participating in the drum circle during class was very interesting for me. It was nice to be able to take what we have learned about nature, and try to apply it within ourselves during the activity. I have to admit, no phone and no watch was relieving. For that hour and fifteen minutes, the time schedule we all live from day to day was gone. You could actually connect with the music, the nature, and even others passing by enjoyed our participation with those connections (the two people who came by and brought us water). I will say one thing however, I really wish I engaged in it a little more. It just goes to prove how caught up humans are about how they are perceived, instead of reaching an inner feeling of truth and the full potential of relaxation. Overall I liked the activity and would engage in it again :)
