A few weeks ago we watched a video about a Indian tripe. It was very sad to see how a culture was on the brink of extinction and the lack of respect they got from their community. This video definitely showed how humans have a lack of respect for people that are different from them. While I can understand the rock climber’s point of view that they have a right to enjoy nature, they could have been a little more compassionate and just rock climbed somewhere else during that time period. I also thought the travelers that were approached by the rangers and told of the sacred spot they were in should have just put some cloths on to be respectful or gone to a different spot by the river. That is what is wrong with society today; the majority of people are only concerned with their wants and needs.
